Clubs, coaches and volunteers should be aware that an increasing number of governing bodies are stipulating that individuals who operate within their sport are required to access the CRB Disclosure service though that governing body only (i.e. those operating in Football are required to go through the football association for CRB Disclosures). With this in mind you are advised to contact your National Governing Body as a first port of call to find out if this is the case.

Please also take into account that some NGBs will charge an administration fee (in addition to any fee charged by the CRB). Please contact your relevant NGB to discuss what these fees currently are.
