Personal Best Programme volunteers

 

Scout Enterprises (Western) Limited is delivering the Personal Best programme in the Berkshire area and are looking for volunteers to attend their courses.

 

The programme has direct links to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and offers an opportunity for participants of the programme to become a Games Time Volunteer.  Everyone who completes the programme will be guaranteed an interview to become a volunteer at the games.  The 2012 Games will require 70,000 volunteers to help with the success of the events!

Young Leaders Camp 2009    10th August - 13th August

 

Following the success of the first Young Leaders Camp, held in 2008,  England Netball, Gymnastics England, Rugby Football Union and UK Athletics have again teamed up to offer two hundred 16-19 year olds the opportunity to attend a four day residential camp, where they will get the chance to develop their leadership and volunteering skills alongside like minded individuals.

Berkshire Sport subscribes to GRANTnet

After a successful funding fair Berkshire Sport has taken out a subscription to GRANTnet - The UK's leading free-to-use funding database.

Berkshire Sport awarded licence to accredit
Berkshire Sport has become the latest County Sports Partnership (CSP) to become licensed to accredit Clubmark, taking the total number of licensed organisations to 42.

Electric Eels swim club has achieved swim 21 sportsmark.  Electric Eels  was launched in June 2008 at Windsor leisure Centre they have achieved SWIM 21 Sportsmark within ten months of their launch.  Please click on the link For more info on the club http://www.electriceels.org.uk/index.html
