Netball UKCC Qualifications at Levels 1 & 2
England Netball are doing everything they can do to help develop your career within the sport by providing the best quality of coach education available. The level 1 courses have shown to be a great sucess with nearly all courses registering as a sell out.
They are doing their very best to keep the cost of the level 2 courses as low as possible, however the high standard of the venue they require to host the courses has had a impact on the course costs, moving from the £275 originally anticipated to £360. England Netball are now looking for ways to access funding for participants to subsidese the challenging cost, currently England Netball is taking this role and continues to subsidese the cost of delivery across the country as best they can.

England Netball statement on course costs
We ackowledge the costs are higher than the awards that have been delivered in the past. The reasons for this are te additional costs which are as follows:
- The Netball UKCC Level 1 & 2 are recognised qualifications that will sit on the National Qualifications Framework and be recognised as any other qualification at the appropriate levels.
- The qualifications will meet the UKCC endorsed quality standard.
- The qualifications have been designed to meet the needs of the coach and vitally the players at the appropriate level.
- The length of the courses have increased more than 100% to ensure we train our coaches effectively and offer better support.
- Assessments have been built into the courses to reduce the inconvenience to coaches and not have to arrange and attend seperate assessment days / sessions.
- The coach, tutors, assessors and verifiers are fully trained and accredited to deliver the best quality course and learning environment.
- Costs are fully inclusive of tutor fees & expenses, assessor fees & expenses, verification codes, coach resources, coach registration and certification costs with the awarding body.
Over the coming period, England Netball will be working to identify and promote sources of funding to support coaches and coach managers to access funding to help with the costs of accessing Netball UKCC qualifications
