Sports Coach UK

Sports Coach UK is working with the County Sports Partnership to make coaches better. We work with coaches from all sports to help them improve the quality of their coaching.

What does this mean for Berkshire coaches? We're here to support you on the ground, in your own coaching environment. We do this by developing and training mentors, working with coach employers and managers, working with clubs and club coach co-ordinators, and individual coaches.

We focus on all aspects of coaching but pay particular attention to the "how to coach" skills (i.e. communication, questioning, behaviour management, demonstrations, etc.), long-term athlete development and developing multi-skills in young participants, and developing mentors.

Sports Coach UK South East Newsletter

The Summer edition of the Sports Coach UK South East Newsletter is now available. The newsletter provides information onobserving performers, planngn a Periodised training year, and developing fleixbility. The newsletter also provides information on Berkshire Tennis Coaches and how they are raising the bar, and how sports coach UK are rewarding Community Sports Coaches for their work in the past year.
