Development Officer for the South East Region (Sept
08)
Lisa Bosley has recently
started as Table Tennis Development Officer for the region. With an
office base at Berkshire Sport, Lisa will be
supporting organisations in the region to develop Table Tennis
and be the first point of contact with the English Table Tennis
Association.

" Visit clubs, leagues and counties
" Provide schemes and resources to help
" Assist with grant aid applications
" Build partnerships
" Provide contacts of others who can help
" Support and advise
" Provide a communication channel with the ETTA

UKCC Coaching Courses
The ETTA is a Recognised Centre to
deliver the 1st4sport Certificates in Coaching Table Tennis at
Levels 1, 2 and 3. Candidates who are new to coaching must start at
Level 1.

Courses for teachers, leaders,
parents, young people etc.....
ETTA Introduction to Table Tennis
Award- 3 hours
This course is suitable for anyone
wanting to learn about the sport of table tennis for the first
time. It is mainly a practical course with some theory which
provides an introduction to starter table tennis
skills.
ETTA Introduction to Coaching
Award- 6 hours
This award is suitable for parents,
sixth formers, candidates for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, table
tennis players or those who work within the youth or leisure/sport
services. It is mainly a practical course with some theory, and
provides an introduction to table tennis coaching.
ETTA Teacher Award- 6
hours
This award is suitable for qualified
or student teachers. It is mainly a practical course with some
theory, and provides an introduction to table tennis
coaching.
ETTA Young TT Networker Award
(Youth Leadership Award)- 6 hours
This practically based course aimed
at 15-19 year olds can be delivered as a bolt on to the Community
Sports Leaders Awards (CSLA), or as a stand alone
course.
