There are around 11 million disabled people across the UK with a range of classifications from amputees to learning difficulties. A large contingent of disabled men and women, old and young, regularly participate in sport at venues and clubs within Berkshire. Many inclusive activities are available for disabled athletes throughout Berkshire ranging from wheelchair basketball to air rifle shooting. It is our firm belief at Berkshire Sport that we should encourage and support all disabled performers to get involved in sport and we aim to provide all the information possible needed to do so.
